My yogic journey began shortly after becoming a mother. What began as a physical, ego-driven practice evolved into a practice of physical and emotional healing – a practice that extends beyond the realm of my mat and into my everyday life. By sharing my own practice, I help students to find their authentic selves in body, mind, spirit, and voice. Students are cued to find their own cadence of breath through a creative flow of postures. I also provide gentle physical and verbal adjustments along with modifications and variations to allow each student access to his/her own body.
I received my initial 200-hour certification in Ashtanga-Vinyasa from the Center for Yoga with Jonny Kest and am currently pursuing an additional 300-hour certification with Janet Stone. While my practice is further enhanced by attending yoga festivals, training, workshops, and classes with master instructors, my true inspiration comes from my students and being a student.
