Sherie is an experienced Yoga Alligance Certified Teacher E-RYT with RYT 500 Teaching Hours & a Continuing Education Provider YACEP.  She has been a student of yoga for 14 years, and has over 5,000 teaching hours.  Having no previous athletic background or other flexibility-focused sports growing up, she found yoga to be challenging, physically and mentally.  Sherie took the challenge as an inspiration to further deepen her practice, devoting time, perseverance and continuous education.  Aside from learning the technicalities of yoga postures and philosophies, her immersion in the practice taught her self-discipline, patience and most importantly, being present.

After getting injured in Tae kwon do, yoga helped Sherie to recover emotionally and physically get back into it, and soon she became a 2nd Degree Black Belt Martial Artist.  She heeded the calling to become a yoga teacher to share the healing and physical benefits she experienced with others.  Her classes are a lively mix of balance, strength and flexibility, focusing on alignment and breathing.  She teaches and practices Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Budokon and Power Yoga.  She is also a Meditation, Creative Therapy Guide, Lifestyle Mentor Coach.  She has trained, practiced and still studies with Master Teachers from around the world.
