This workshop will dig deep into the methods and engagement needed to transition through practice with more lift and float. Learn the foundations of transitioning by disecting the pieces of sun salutations and understanding how to use them to help you work on moving more lightly. Then learn the key elements to lifting and floating in a jump back or jump through. Expect a discussion about breath, bandhas, shoulder stability and hip flexor use. We will also discuss some advanced transitions in and out of postutres such as jumping onto arms, transitioning back through titibhasana and crow and movement in certain postures like rolling and chakrasana. Expect to work on your mat through this active workshop, but with in-depth instruction and assistance.
