This workshop will focus on how chronic stress and anxiety impedes brain function causing negative emotions and an imbalanced mind/body connection. We will focus on how to use different yoga tools to alleviate stress and anxiety to restore emotional brain function as well as bring balance back between the mind and body.
To start this 90 minute workshop, we will begin with a 30 minute satsang discussing how stress effects the brain and emotions followed by a 60 minute yoga practice that will be made up of asana, pranayama, mantra, meditation and aroma therapy (optional) specifically intended to reduce stress and anxiety and bring balance back for emotional, physical and mental wellbeing.
